OK then.... new order a bloke thing? Hmmmmm...well from my experience, id be inclinded to agree with you. The recent gigs girls were deffo a rarity. I personally went to the gigs with three blokes (but im a whore, so that doesnt mean much! lol) and most of my friends who appreciate NO or JD are blokes. When i was at uni there were a big bunch of us who like NO, and apart from me they were all blokes. I only know of one other girl(except on here) who likes NO, and she only likes them, not like us lot.

To be honest I quite like it being a blokie thing. I dont know why they mainly attract a male fan base....like Barney says on NO story, its either spotty student types or lager louts..... well, i dont fit into either category....

Although i do like lager and football...hmmm

I've been told that listening to Depeche Mode should be 'a guy thing'. And according to Pet Shop Boys, the typical PSB fan is a man in his late 20's. New Order, it appears, is music for blokes too..

Well, I happen to be a huge fan of these three bands....and I'm not a guy (at least not the last time I checked).. So why is it mostly guys listening to these fabulous bands? Any ideas?

Not convinced Depeche Mode are a 'bloke thing' at all. Always thought of them as more 'music for couples'. Or accountants.

Went to see Soft Cell last week. Don't ask. Well, since you did ask I was conned into getting a ticket by a lovely New Order couple from Ceremony, who then decided to go to Noo Yoik instead. As you do. Anyhow, I've never seen so many bloody Goths in one room in me life. And I was brought up in the 80's! I mean, I know it was Halloween but that's really no excuse.

I saw Soft Cell at the barras a couple of weeks back, bloody marvelous! I could'nt stop laughin though at the number of fortiesomethings dressed in black leather trousers and tight as fuck black t-shirts with the huge beer belly bustin' out! :smoking:
