nic,

in the concert browser, the july 14, 1993 gig at the meadowlands in new jersey has '???' listed as the venue, but the august 14, 1993 gig in east rutherford, NJ has 'brendan byrne arena' listed as the venue. the brendan byrne arena is the venue at the meadowlands (which is the name of a sports/concert complex in east rutherford, including the arena and a stadium). could they be the same venue? can't think of any other meadowlands venue they could have played in twice....

hope this post makes sense! :D

I thought it was August 4, 1993. Anyway, thanks for the spot.

The source of this error was probably an ambiguity in one of the tape list entries that Waterrat used to compile his list. While Waterrat decides how he wants to move forward, I'll make updates to my copy of his Gigography, which you can find at http://www.new-order.net/no/gigs/

the meadowlands Consists of Both has Giant Stadium (american football open stadium, had the occasional huge concert-Springsteen, the Who in '89, Stones, Etc.)and Brenden Byrne Arena (smaller venue for basketball, Hockey and Concerts(which was changed in 94 to Continental Airlines Arena) new order played in The Brendan Byrne Arena
