Its now become clear to me through the incessant reminders of Klumpy how effortlessly melodic ‘Side A’ of BrotherBusty is. I believe that on this album particularly, Barney’s genius-like gift for creating ‘sing-along’ tunes is brought to us in unparalleled spoonfuls. Does anyone agree that this is the case?, or, to put it another way, can anyone disagree that this ‘guitar’ side of BrotherBusty is the most ‘sing-along’ moment of their career?... I mean, who can put it on and not sing at the tops of their vocal chords to ‘Paraglider’, ‘Broken Pots’, ‘Way of Klumpy’ et al?!...
I say to the true NO fan... stick’ Side A’ of BrotherBusty on and within 11 seconds you’ll be singing for your supper whilst all around crows will be flying from their nests far up into the skyline.
‘Getting Things Ready’ comes a close range second but there seems to be something about BrotherBusty... it clings to your larynx like shit to a shovel.
