You have in part misunderstood me, Huntsy. When I used the term "horrible" I was referring to Brotherhood, not PCL. Although the sound quality on PCL is far from perfect, the beauty of the three gems comes through. It's B'hood that's marred. I swear to myself, Huntsy, but I try not to let others hear.

Sorry about that cakey.. I got myself in a tiss and couldn't work out my own name.

I took on board your scurilous comments about Bro Show and listened carefully again to it last night whilst bombing to the football 5-a-side Huntsman thursday night love match. I do not know where you are coming from?... I trust your not piping the tunes through your now infamous PC of utter poo... play it on a decent 'Bose' system or Bang & Olufsen with the treble marginally higher than the bass and sit back and enjoy. All you'll hear is perfection... and if you don't... you should do.

:hat:

Well, Huntsy, I confess my current mode of music listening is headphones (decent ones) plugged directly into a CD player. That configuration gives me no ability to adjust treble, bass, or anything other than volume.

By the way, Huntsy, I find that feeding the turtles is more entertaining than feeding birds.

I enjoy feeding fish also Pastie... I live on the beach, well, about 2 steps from it and sometimes (weather permitting) I trot along and throw a bag full of bread in the general direction of the sea. Occassionally, some of the segments don't get blow into our lass's hair and I'm hopeful that some urchins dine on stale breeder that we couldn't consume with our french fries (that's chips for the uk speakers).

by the way cakes... i tried to rifle through a load of old posts but couldn't dig up anything on your mysterious past-ie.

On the subject of feeding fish and turtles: my mother lives in Florida, and when I go to visit her, there is a boardwalk type place along a riverbank near the ocean where people go to throw bread bits to the turtles. The fish are much faster, and often bread that's intended for the turtles gets eaten by the fish instead. I didn't mean there were nuggets hidden in my old posts, Huntsy.

You'll have to let me know your old fellas address in Florida Space Cakes - I fancy stopping there for 4 weeks whilst I visit Disney's World. Me and our lass wouldn't mind meeting the real life Michale Mouse and Miniature Mouse.. I've got a gripe with Mick, in Steamboat William why did he not drive it into Huck Finn's house?... wasn't he on the same river?.. its just stupid he never grabbed the opportunity. I mean, Donald Ducks milk would have.. but he's always been far better.

I would like to go on the Back to the Future ride.. I've heard that recently Michael Joseph Fox-face is offering to sit with each customer when they go round as his flagging popularity has put him and his lass in an awkward position... they can no longer afford to keep their pets.

Oh well... I wonder where Pastie keeps the personal gems?

Michael J. Irritating has turned into a disease crusader, Huntsy. He would probably expect you to make a contribution to the Please Find a Cure Quickly for Michael's Disease Fund. I haven't seen Steamboat Willie in probably fifty or sixty years, Huntsy, so don't expect me to answer a quiz about it. Florida's a big state, Huntsy. Has it occurred to you, H, that there might be things about me that you'd rather not know?

they were the bits I was interested in. ;)

Like the possibility that I'm three feet tall, with green skin, seven eyes, and weigh 825 pounds? By the way, Huntsy, I listened to your song again this morning. It has a very nice melody. I take it from a prior comment that the non-singing male voice saying something like "How's that for a story" is not you but is instead some presumably well-known actor in a movie with a Kathleen Turner equivalent?

Patrick it is Kirstie Alley as sampled from Prince's Gold album. You know, some things I say are actually true.. I know its difficult to differentiate. I'm compiling a best of cd for Buster and Muffbox at the moment and would gladly send you one so that you didn't have to channel my hard work through your pipe.

SB - yes, I agree. I detest the very notion that a bloke can dress up as a mouse and in some way represent a cartoon character... the fact that Waco Jako is getting away with it is a real mystery.

Well, yes, Huntsy, having a CD would be far preferable to the current arrangement. I didn't doubt you when you said it was not Kathleen Turner but rather Kirstie Alley. Do I really know who that is, by the way? That's why I said "Kathleen Turner equivalent." But you are not saying Kirstie Alley is also the male voice, are you?

Oh Patty dear Patty... thought I'd made myself quite clear. Okay all of the 'So what about this for a story' etc. bits are ALL Kirstie Alley of Cheers fame. Sometimes, to fit the space of time between bars I had to speed her up or slow her down. If she sounds a bit like a blokes its because she was slowed down a few pitches too many. Its definately her throughout. Everything else is me except for the rather complex guitar solos who were played by a mate of mine who is now quite famous.

Hope that explains things - if not, ask a policeman.

Okay, Huntsy, I think I understand now. It's really Humphrey Bogart everywhere and you've done amazing things with all those expensive machines you have for converting drawings into voices and voices into milkshakes. Why didn't you just say that?

Are you discounting the possibility that I'm really an alligator?

Funnily enough, I've always loved Kathleen Turner's voice and was a bit confused, a few years ago, hearing that Kristie Alley had a voice so close to Turner's...

Oh well, I had thought it was Huntsys 'slightly effeminate' voice doing the interludes...sorry bout that Huntsy..

Well, I never watched Cheers. Wasn't Ted Danson in Cheers? He was also in Body Heat, as was KT of course. So there you are.

I don't usually do that. Sorry.

All right, Huntsy, I admit it, there's one very important fact about Brotherhood that I had somehow managed to forget: YOU HAVE TO PLAY IT REALLY LOUD.

You see, Huntsy, when I'm wrong, I'm not afraid to admit it.
