Just got a mail from the man himself asking me to stick a message on here, so here goes -
My Joy Division book - originally scheduled for March 2003 release is expected to be published around May 2004. The book was artwork ready when the original publishers - Vision On - were placed in the hands of the receivers. Since then, several publishers have expressed an interest in publishing the title and hopefully the contracts will be agreed in early January. The original idea was to publish a uniform New Order edition six months after the JD book. I'm not sure if this will now happen.
There was also going to be a limited edition of each book - boxed - containing a signed art poster of Ian Curtis in the JD one and a signed photo of NO in the New Order one. Peter Saville had also agreed to design a box to accommodate both volumes.
Again, this will probably not happen now as most publishers are wary of spending too much money... If the scheduled publication date changes for any reason I will let everyone know as soon as I know.

...and no, I'm not skint. As I said to Al: There comes a time when one really has to decide if having 20 different versions of a record sleeve is strictly necessary. Likewise rolls and rolls of posters that I have no wall space for. Better to let others appreciate them - albeit at the market price.
