although Here To Stay is a fitting suggestion as far as literal translation of the song title goes, Ceremony is actually what i would play. In fact, i'd have to put on the 12" Don and Shug gave me and drop the needle. Nothing sounds finer than Ceremony on 12". would be nice with the slight reverb of a new house.
The reverb is the key to it.
Of course, if the choice were widened, I would be duty-bound to play "My New House" by The Fall ![]()
Agreed with the Ceremony comments, although it has to be the 7".
Put that one on full-blast and you'll soon find out whether your foundations are sound, or not.
We All Stand -
cos you'll be forever waiting for the fucking furniture removals to arrive and no doubt they'll be caught up in a bloody traffic jam.......and that song will just about encapsulate everything won't it? "Three hours to go-o-o..... Three hours to go-o-o-o.... At the end of the road.....There's a cuppa waiting for me.....At The end of the roooooaaaaddddddd..." ![]()
Just whack Blue Monday on at full volume to let the neighbours know you've arrived - and as everyone knows BM it's a good way of striking up conversation (or they just may never speak to you...ever!).
Glad I could help...!!!
Chris :)

Or "This Old House" by Shakey...
Something Must Break....for when the clumsy moving men treat your valuable boxed belongings a bit rough.
Such a Good Thing
Nothing beats an uplifting tune for something new. It was the first song played when I bought my car.

By title alone, I wouldn't play Lonesome Tonight or Regret. Ceremony is always the first NO song played at each new residence of mine though, which is what I would suggest.

Good call matey!!!
It must begin where it started, isn't it? Ceremony....
Altough I'd probably go for "She's Lost Control", as it's usually what happens when we move ![]()
