Do you mean gigs that they've been drunk at, or gigs we've been drunk at ?

It's not always alcohol though with them, is it ? 
i mean gigs where they have been drunk,although i must admit i was definatly on par with barney that night!
WOMAD was mad alright, but I've definitely seen them in a worse state. Doncaster that year was just one ! I'm still not sure whether Hooky's stopping playing towards the end of KW1 at Paris in 2002 was down to a blown amp or intoxication, as he sat on the amp with a glass of champagne instead of playing.
Mind you, the best band for intox during gigs was the Bunnymen. I'm still laughing at the one show in 1985 where they were so drunk Will couldn't remember the guitar parts, and started playing riffs from other songs in mid-song !
agreed,the bunnymen are nearly as good value as new order in the drink stakes,glastonbury this year was a fine example of that!
Dunno about drunken, but has Hooky done a single performance over the entire Get Ready tour where he hasnae been charlied off his nuts?!

I wouldn't know about this Charlie lark - I naively assumed it was the look of nostalgia and self-satisfaction !

Most pissed I was at a gig was probably the Move Festival, all day drinking followed on from the piss up the night before. Only remember Love Vigilanties clearly from the gig, and that's only cos Crystal never opened the set!

According to the Retro booklet, Barney fell down and still played his melodica part from In A Lonely Place pissed out of his head

I think there was a Top of the Pops performance where Barney appeared to be on one. Back in the day when things weren't as cheap as a pint.

I remember the dates so well cos I had me shoulder pinned on November 14th 1989 and was in hospital when both Hallelujah and Revenge's Seven Reasons were released so had to get a mate to buy both records then tape them for me to listen to on the Walkman in me hospital bed!
My long term memory's sooperb, it's what I did yesterday I can never remember! ;)

Funny enough I was thinking about this the other day while listening to the Revenge cd. Peter Hook released 7 Reasons in the Oct/Nov then Electronic released GAWI in the beginning of December followed by the TOTP appearance. Revenge against Barney's project I wonder.
First I heard of 7 Reasons was on vinyl though, whereas GAWI was getting 'heavy rotation' (as the kids might say) on radio well in advance of its actual release date.
I think the Revenge thing was a bit of a shocker (in more ways than one!) when it hit the shops cos it seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere. The whole world knew what Barney was up to, but Hooky seemed to spring from nowhere with his ensemble.

Just been listening to Glasto 81. An interesting cameo from the boy Sumner, that's for sure.
