Was actually watching something else - so I set the video for NMTB, AHW is on it, and as daft as ever, he's on the same side as that guy from Fame Academy and Phil Jupitus.
The Mondays got a passing mention, and ole Tone stated he once got punched by David Essex, never seen that in his book:D
Appeared somewhat 'mellow' shall we call it. Tried to sound clever but came out a right tit. No change there then.
Dont know about Celeb squares, do you get Turn on Terry, broadcast in your area it's 'kin z list. He's been talkin bollix with Terry Christian, on and off for a few weeks now, but the whole show ...tragic. Havin said that, I still watch it, it's almost as if you dare them to plumb new depths and as for Paul Ryders houseband/links/interludes ...well I s'pose it pays the bills

But don't forget, it was at least partly his fault that NO split up the first time.
I'm not so sure it was. Sure, Factory had impoded thanks to Wilson's sponsorship of Shaun Ryder's habit(s), but the band themselves also had a knack of throwing good money after bad, and powdery nosebags of their own. In the words of the former singer, Something Must Break, and so it did.
Just watching the re-run now and must admint our Tone does come across as a bit of an arse (or even , dare i say it, twat) if you judge him on this performance alone
