Pink Floyd (New Order of the 70's), Cocteau Twins, Interpol (Joy Division of the 00's). Hope these count as they have a connection to NO in my mind. ![]()

All of which are not related to New Order, Factory or Manchester !
Um...what was the question? (is it "bands related to Factory and/or Manchester, but not New Order?" or "Bands not related to Factory and/or Manchester, but related to New Order?" or.....damn, I've gone cross-eyed
)

as none of the bands mentioned by the original poster are related to NO, factory, or manchester, i'm assuming that the question refers to your favourite bands which have nothing to do with any of the three.

Blur? You sure? Thats a bit cockney for you dario isn't it? :p
:bag:
A Certain Ratio (genius), The Royal Family & The Poor (fucking hard to find records), Tunnelvision (cos they only had one single :D )
Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets, Mondays (of course!)
BTW I seem to still have my old NO/HM/ACR G-Mex T-shirt but it don't fit any more!
So, let's get this straight - bands which are non-New Order related (i.e. Joy Division, Electronic, etc), non-Manchester (e.g. A Guy Called Gerald, The Smiths, 808 State, etc), and non-Factory (e.g. Crispy Ambulance, Happy Mondays, Durutti Column, etc).
Well, if none of the above can apply to the choice of bands, then I'm going to choose the following three:
Orbital The Orb The KLF
l8rs,
Nick ;)
Sorry, a jumbled title, I ment fav bands that have nothin at all to do with factory New Order, Manchester etc!
Beatles
Who
Clash
Pistols
Kinks
XTC
Weezer
J. Richman
Lou Reed
and way too many to list, really ![]()

have to agree big-time with the comment about Interpol - saw them on a German TV In concert programme & they even dress like 'em!!!
