Community Side Competition (Remix Contest)

Well folks, since we (well you, as we have work anyways) have time before the release of the album and everything else to be completed, I have decided to start a little side competition.

It's a remix competition, your chance to remix almanso's Angel Dust

I had this idea when I saw the 12 AIF tracks on my hard drive, and I always wanted someone to do a remix for the Community EP, and the "Megamix" thread rang a bell that some people on this website might do a good job at trying this.

No rules are done yes, let's say this is not an official project, but something we do for the sake of it, and the remixes will be judged by everybody, there will be a poll to pick a winner, and if we judge it's worthy (I sure hope that will be almanso's call) it will be on the Community EP..

Most of you hate remixes, so it's your chance to make sure it doesn't suck

Check the Community forum if you are interested, the only requirement to do this is being able to download 600 megabytes from a FTP site... those tracks are huge!!

Instead of "Angel Dust (Fred West Remix)" would turn out to be "Evil Dust (Fred West Remix)"

Well, it's up to you, the people will decide who's mix will win, but again, I said to almanso, if this goes well, he might be able to do a single

To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing other artists submitting their tracks for tentative remixing, but we can't put them all on the EP

However I'd be curious to hear that as well, does your take on the Perfect Kiss can be remixed into something else.. Kiss of Death I mean

Let us know, but I can't garantee we can put remixes on the EP, otherwise the EP will being to cost a lot of money, which wasn't the point at all!!

However you'd have material for releasing a single out of it ;)

Send us the multi-track then, no problem, people will enjoy and try to remix it, I'm sure...!
