A bit rude of FACTUS...

Was browsing my record collection and ran into 'Young, Popular & Sexy' - FACT US 17...a compilation that came about in 1987 for the US market...

Two things:

1. Not one of these artists listed here could be considered sexy!! Certainly not Vini Reilly!!!

2. The back cover says 'NO NEW ORDER'!!! What kind of ca-rap is that!!!???

Anyway, tracklist is:

Good record, but it makes some crazy claims that need to be addressed!!

Probably one of the ugliest covers ever to grace a Factory release, too...of course, the "No New Order" instantly made it a must-buy for any self-respecting NO fan. Factory knew its fans.

I'll give it 7 of 10 stars.

Sold my vinyl copy probably less than a year after its release, and I can't recall what any of the tracks sounded like today, except for the ACR one cause I have Force.

They sounded like the 80's but these days I kinda think all of the tracks are pretty good!!
