Has there ever been a release of PC&L on CD without BM and TB? If so, it is attainable without having to donate a kindey, sell babies for money, club baby seals, or prostitute myself for life?

Yeah, the original Factory release. I think your american one was the only one that included them. The UK one is readily available over here. Mail me and i`ll drop you a copy in the post.

My copy of it will be floating down the river that runs through Hamilton Ontario in a few hours... I am getting the 8 song version. BM and TB suck, I forward by them EVERY time.

Yes, you can. It's quite easy - if you don't live in North America.

...what is with the abbreviations? How many people are going to assume "TB" automatically refers to a somewhat obscure, not very good, 20-some year old New Order remix. Heh, I kept thinking "True Blaith" ?

WTF ? It IS a different song altogether, called Tuberculosis. Radiohead did a version, which they called "My Iron Lung". It's only available these days as a hidden song at the end of the Albanian version of Low Life (which incidentally was re-titled High Life by the Albanian Government following the collapse of the Hoxha regime).

Hmm...I didn't see it in the New Order song browser and my "The Bends" sleeve doesn't credit anybody for "My Iron Lung". Either way I was initially making a joke about abbreviations, so...

...lucky Albanians I guess.

Get used to it, or talk about New Order songs on the Cure's website... they don't abbreviate them there.

You might want to be a little wary about taking everything Tim says at face value...

I usta have the US CD with BM & TB, but it eventually split down the middle and needed replacement.

I now use the Japanese CD which is the same as UK, so I'm BM/TB free!!!! I also picked up a minty copy of the JA vinyl while I was living there!!
