I was able to find the page searching a quote from the book on Google: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/adrianhigg/joydivision.txt

I don't think it is (legal), but fuck it, she's Deborah fuckin Curtis, she was once married to the man himself, she sees Natalie Curtis on a regular basis (I wish I saw her on a regular basis), she's friends with NO, she must have made a fuckload of cash from this book and I live in fuckin Brazil, in the middle of fuckin nowhere, and if I want to get the book it's just terribly expensive, so Adrian, THANK YOU!
(Though I did look for it when I last went to the US last july, just couldn't find it anywhere.)

You've not read it? ![]()
I really liked it. Ultimately, I think it serves its purpose, i.e. to get past the myth and portrait Ian Kevin Curtis as a human being, with all his contradictions and flaws, as well as what drew people to him in the first place (his charms). The style is pretty direct and simple, influence of Jon Savage, I'd say (I've always thought he writes directly and simply - which is a hell of a great quality in a writer).
What did we all think of our debbies book?
It did get accross the "ian is a human being" line alright, but also seemed (to me) to be a platform for some pretty deep rooted bitterness.

This is a short book indeed. It has about 200 pages only because it contains also lyrics, unseen lyrics and a list of concerts.
Well, yes... But would you say that's a flaw of the book? Or of Debbie Curtis? If anything, I reckon you can say she was jumping on the bandwaggon a bit at the time, though, hell, if she, who was married to the guy, ain't gonna say something about it, who the hell will?
still its about a million times more readable that paul morely's tome of self indulgant crap called 'nothing' IIRC.
'nothing' interesting.
why use 50 pages when you can fill a whole book?
(edit and I forgot to say that wilson recommended it when i saw him at the ICA the other year. along with the twats who asked 'what was Ian like' and the guy with the world worst ginger combover [started from about 3 inches above his neck] )
