Let's see....I've got it!!!!

Naughty Naughty...very naughty...wicked There's a guy in the place got a bittersweet face And he goes by the name of Ebeneezer Goode His friends call him eezer and he is the main geezer as he flies about the place like no other man could he's refined he's sublime he makes you feel fine Though very much maligned and misunderstood but if you know eezer he's a real crowd pleaser he's ever so good He's Ebeneezer Goode You'll see that he's mischevious, mysterious and devious When he circulates amongst the people in the place Once you know he's fun he's something of a genius He gives a grin that goes around face to face to face....

 Haha true, I don't remember anything being said about spliffs or E's in the past...

But you're quoting Shamen, right? And they *are* singing that E's are good...

Actually, all the lyrics - if you can make 'em out - concern Barney's encroaching menopause and premature baldness. This is TRUE!!!! Listen to the unforgettable first line:

"I ..... Lost My Hair...... Lost My Hair......"

So, now you know why his hairstyle STILL looks like it did back in 1983 - he's wearing a syrup. Poor bastard.

I just heard them make a funny...I'm listening to one particular version of Ebineezer Goode, where Mr. C asks

"do you have any underlay"

and Colin replies "oh, I get it, you're making a rug reference"

Did you know "UNDERLAY" was also supposed to be the title of that BECK album from a few years back? He wanted to title it UNDERLAY after the Speedy Gonzales character in the cartoon but couldn't spell it properly, so he lost his rag and the title became ODELAY.
