Consider this a companion to the NO spotting thread, have you got any abiding memory of an Order related tune, purely as a cosequence of where you heard it ?

To start the ball rollin , so to speak. What do you want from me ? Monaco Heard at a live sex show in Amsterdam, just before the ahem money shot. Incidentaly the guy in the monks habit had a beard .... anyway Monaco are forever linked to me Brothers Stag night/ Batchelor party. If this thread gets no replies I'm not arsed , just had to get that stuff out there. SHA LA LA,lala la

When they used to play the temptation 7" at the Palais Disco (it was a dive), Bathgate, West Lothian in the early 80's. Sticky floor, velour seats, dodgy punters etc, but every time I hear the opening bars of the 7" it reminds me of that place.

Probably an old haunt of Jonathan Scott too whom I first met at Bathgate College in '85.

Ah stag weekends, about 6 years ago we went to New York for one and ended up in some club called Twilight or Twilo or something (a bird in there told us it used to be Sound Factory?) the DJ was playing weird stuff compared to what were used to in england anyway, when all of a sudden i heard "why cant you see,why cant you see" & "confusion" blasting though the biggest speakers ive ever seen. I worked my way over to the DJ box to investigate-low & behold who`s behind the decks? Arthur Baker! the tune wasnt New Order but something else called Breakers Revenge? Good weekend to boot!

This must work on the assumption that the homeless usually carry a tin-opener and camping gas stove about with them?:D

I was at this bar, the Chaos (here in Winnipeg), and they played Don't Do It on Industrial/Goth night. Quite the pleasant surprise.

I first heard 60 Miles An Hour whilst driving away from Zurich airport towards southern Germany. I was in a shitty Seat Ibiza hire car and remember thinking "if only..." when Baney sang the "we'll drive at 60 miles an hour" line.
