Saville came here in Italy at the end of last year but I've just read it now on an old digest. :( Shit, must absolutely get up to date with those hundreds back messages...

I think you'll find he did all of those! They're featured heavily in 'Designed By Peter Saville', and appeared in the exhibition.

He certainly did True Faith!! I asked the man himself during the Saville Talk and he spend a good 10 minutes recounting the story behind that sleeve to the audience!

True Faith is credited as Trevor Key/ Peter Saville on the Urbis postcards, whereas the other stuff is just Peter Saville - know SAville had the concept, & the background looks like his, but did Key take the photos or what?

Lucian?

Youre half right! he didnt do the original 4 track sleeves, they were just Strange Fruit generic ones. He did however do the re-release 8 track ones that came out around 1990.:thumb:

Nope. Have tried. Still don't see even the beginnings of a "joke", unless the HTML code didn't correctly encode your sarcasm.

"Irony is hypocrisy with style." Hence, I mentioned some of the most blatantly Saville covers.

Should've put it in italics or something (we need an ironic way of bending typefaces). Just seems like the naive sort of thing a newbie would say otherwise!

I am somehow doubting he did if you mean the Arthur Baker mixes. Where's Gillian in that picture :love2:
