Well I've only just started using New Order as back drop to my romantic moments, The Elegia version from Retro wasn't quite upto it but now I have the Saville soundtrack.:love2:

Well, if you want a good getting-laid soundtrack, forget New Order and get Portishead, "Dummy".

Impressive how it works.

The original sounds of sex are the best soundtrack. I don't like to mix them with music. I've read the best would be Cocteau Twins, many think. New Order, I don't know, they inspire me other feelings... how could I do it with Perfect Kiss, it just inspires a different kind of power... stuff like Run Wild maybe... oh yes, the Saville Show soundtrack... World In Motion for those frenzier moments?

Shame it cuts short after 5 discs, mind. :thumb:

I'm generally doing well if I make it through a Ramones track, never mind a fookin' NO one!

Damn, so I'm not the only one who used the Cocteau Twins, back in the day anyway, I always loved the instrumental mix of Vanishing point, I'd just put it on repeat and have at it, the the instrumental version is just beautiful and has nice build ups as well.

For God's sake! Will you all PLEASE stop making allusions of a sexual variety to New Order songs? New Order songs have nothing to do with sex, and you're all a lot of preverts if you think otherwise.

Sincerely,

I've always wanted "R&R" to be playing. Now, I just have to find someone else to shaft with. Also, "The Kiss" by the Cure isn't a bad choice.

I've found that a hand works quite well.

I've found that a hand works quite well. Then just play "Subculture" or TPK. Or, just maybe all of Low-Life.

One of these days when you sit by yourself You'll realise you can't shaft without someone else (subculture)

Personally I don't like getting my freak on with people singing in the background. Don't ask why.

And I was going to say Perfect Pit. Just long enough to cover foreplay, the main course, and post-sex cuddling, allowing me to get back to the NOOL forums...

Plus the track-name itself is kind of an amusing pun if you know Swedish...

And as for their instrumentals...I'm still gonna go with no. Avalanche is to high pitch, Elegia is what you play after your hamster is killed by a deafening blast from a tuba (How would I of known?), and stuff like "Thieves like us" (instrumental version) doesnt count because I know the lyrics.

In sum, New Order is off the hump list.
