Hi i'm new to this forum and i'm sure this has been discussed before. When the hell is someone gonna release "Here are the young men" on DVD i was born the year it came out on video and so am obviously to young to have got the video, i'm pretty sure that this would be really popular anyone know whats up.

There's talk of it being released next year, possibly even with extra footage from the Eindhoven gig (though I doubt it). Hopefully they sick Wilderness back in it, so there isn't that super-sloppy cut.
Shouldn't this be in the "on-topic" forum 
Anyway, that would be lovely if a JD DVD ever came out, but I think the closest we'll ever come is the proposed video collection on the on-topic forum. That's about as much as we can muster (notice my grown-up pessimism replacing my younger optimism :D )

The Ikon/Factory video release of "Here Are The Young Men" was really bad quality,its one of those things we should accept & get over-we will never get a good quality copy of a full Joy Division concert.
