Eight bonus tracks will be added to the soundtrack to the 1994 film "Reality Bites" for a 10th anniversary edition due June 8 from BMG Heritage. Six of the appended tracks, including Arrested Development's "Give a Man a Fish" and New Order's "Confusion", appeared in the film but not on the original RCA soundtrack. In its updated form, the set will contain all of the music that is used in the film. The new edition will also add an acoustic version of the soundtrack's No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories single "Stay (I Missed You)," as well as the new song "Fools Like Me," also set for an expected new Loeb studio album. New liner notes and still pictures from the movie will be included. The original soundtrack peaked at No. 13 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.9 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The set also included reggae act Big Mountain's cover of Peter Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way," which reached No. 6 on the Hot 100. The same day as the soundtrack's reissue, "Reality Bites" will be released on DVD via Universal. Among the extras on the disc will be the video for "Stay," directed by film star Ethan Hawke, commentary by Hawke and Loeb and a retrospective by director/co-star Ben Stiller.-- Barry A. Jeckell, N.Y.

The last time I read the front page was the Frusciante article, and I believed it at first too.
