i just got home from our new order/joy div night. for a tuesday, we had a great turnout, over 100 people :) I plugged neworderonline.com and community but the giveaways didnt work out well cause the people with the winning numbers probally left early. i played one song off community, i wanted to play 3, but i only had 2 sets. the songs i was going to play were manumatic's loveless, bently's temptation, and dance upon nothings BLT, but i only played temptation :( sorry. i did say before the song that it was bently and for community and etc...
the rest of the night was great, lots of new order and joy division, but only a few side projects (monaco, revenge, electronic) and we had to play a few songs twice cause people who came late kept asking for the same shit.
blue monday was a hit of course and dance floor was packed. kristine the other dj did a LWTUA set, very odd. and basically everything else rocked :)
i guess thats it. oh and there were boxset giveaways for joy div and new order, cool and unexpected :)
