Can you change the title of this thread please to say Joy Division night in Chicago ? Wasting a lot of people's time otherwise, who cannot access the frequency.

thanks for the heads up :)ill change the new order night to "in chicago", but joy division night is not just for people in chicago since we have webcasting.

I shall try and access the webcast if I get a chance. Never tire of hearing them on the radio !

Never having tried listening via computer.Do i need a BROADBAND connection to do this.See i only have the old style connection at moment and so can't say i have had much success with the NEW downloading and viewing/listening technology. This is a SERIOUS question posed by a NON TECH INTERNET guy. Now there's a quote. It'd keep a linguistics class goin for years, Semantics, Pragmatics, Implicature ( Grices theory of Implicature, that is ) and presupposition, it's got the lot.

Kamar has been doing a great job promoting the community cd and new order online the past six months on his show. He even did a new order night once. You guys should definitely check it out!

you do not need broadband to listen, but it does kind of suck cause it'll be slow and it will also re-buffer (is that the right term) a lot. i think you need winamp but im not exactly sure. go to wluw.org and click on the listen live icon, if your computer does not have a program to support webcast, it will let you know and give you links and directions to get one.

Once I get my own connection I'll be tuning in, does the DJ do a good smashie and nicey introduction to the songs.

"gud evenin rock pickers evrything ere is stupendously smashing, here just to cheer you strange made up miserable gothic type people who like to complain about the weather and such like here is that upbeat Manchester all boy band joy division with Decades" :D

He played Project Wintemute's remix of Angel Dust this week ;)

So it was natural to offer some CD to draw, as so many tunes were played by Kamar.... ;)
