Celluloid Order??

Yeah LWTUA is definitely in Donnie Darko,when he`s at the party dressed as a skeleton.

yep thats right ,lwtua turns up when donnie is at that party and starts tripping out (at least i think he was trippin),damn strange film that. and walking tall is the rocks latest poor effort. new order tunes well steve n gillian did the "making out" tv series backing music but vanishing point was the title track. nerw order have also been used umpteen times by the bbc as backing music for various televised sporting events. the most memorable for me was the 100 greatest world cup goals to the tune of love vigilantes (instrumental). ive got this on vhs somewhere and wil dig it out when i get tha chane. not seen it in years myself ,would be nice to watch it again

I think LWTUA also features in one of these so called mockumentary type films. The film if I recall correctly is called "SERIES 7 (The Contenders)". The film itself is no doubt meant to be some kind of insightful parody of television but thankfully it turns into an Ealing Comedy, with a murderous nurse and a Psychotic single mum slugging it out. Great stuff. The film is worth a look if you like that kind of thing, which I do.

Ah yes, I remember that movie. I watched it late at night, hoping to spot the LWTUA. It ended up being over some grainy footage that two former "goths" had short as a cheesy Gothic home movie back in high school, something about their love for each other. Of course, now they are older and one of them has to go off and fight in this kill-or-be-killed reality TV thing (I think he has cancer too or something), so they reminisce and whatnot. But a weird version of LWTUA, if I recall correctly. It was Joy Division, but didn't sound the same...they must've put it through some sort of device to change the tone.
