I think that's a pretty safe bet !

Is this a joint re-order / Known Pleasures outing then?

Defo up for this.

The joint one may be in July or August, we're both doing separate shows as well before then. The promoters Bugbear mailed me to confirm we will be doing a joint show this summer - I think this re-order show in June will be featuring a different non-tribute support band.

You got any confirmed dates, other than the 40th bidet you're doing?

Co-promoter GaryMac will be reporting back this evening/tomorrow morning with the Manchester date fixed, hopefully, and from then it's a case of seeing what we can get as warm-up dates from Bugbear and other local promoters. We may be putting on a couple of self-promotion shows as well, depending on how far we get with expanding the set. All good experience, even if nobody turns up. I'll be putting some of the live tracks from last Tuesday's show up on our website over the weekend, along with some very important breaking news (he says, over-dramatising it in Wilsonian fashion).....

Me and a few mates will be at the Witchwood gig , 'bout a dozen of us are up for it , have you got a support act ? Have you got a stage time ? Will you have a rider ?:D We'll probably follow the gig with a trip to South nightclub in M/Cr to see Clint Boon and the boon army dj set, unless there is an AT situation to be had in the Witchwood in which case we'll come down in the builders vans and kip in the car park :smoking: In any event we are lookin forward to watching your beat combo play some popular tunes of today and yesteryear . Our kid is prone to stage invasion , if this is a problem we'll ensure he has no E numbers in his food and drink.

Two gigs in the Black Country?! (Which is where Brierly Hill appears to be - if I've got the right one, can't say I'd heard of it before).

But only one upcoming date in London? :(

Looking forward to Thursday.. ..

Dunno how to reply to that without sounding racist Al, so cheers! But no would be the answer:lol:

I was expecting a reply like "Who the fuck has ever played Corby?"

Answer : The Proclaimers a few months ago at the Festival Hall.........Honestly.....and we had Chas n Dave just before that. Veritable hotbed for up and coming bands, past bands also include T'Pau and The Stranglers. Republican flute bands don't count do they?:evil4:

Next question - why is Corby ?

Have to say I've always liked Corby actually, apart from it always being so bleedin' cold. Scots brought the Highland weather with them !
