Simply the most memorable NO show I ever went to, been playing the boot all morning, Decades still sends shivers down my back when I hear it.
Main memory? I was one of the 5 or 6 guys with cameras taking pictures during Leave Me Alone, standing right in front of Hooky. I really must dig those pictures out from the attic someday....

When Hooky's bass rings out in the first bit of Decades, it sends shivers down my spine, too. And I wasn't even there!
Every time we play Decades, I am transported back to that magical moment. Not to the first time I heard Closer, but to that moment of glorious recognition on the banks of the Thames. Fucking awesome.
Recall talking to a guy after the first Brixton gig in 2001: he'd been to 50+ New Order gigs, so I asked him which was the best - he told me RFH '84...
The one gig that's eluded me. I always liked the Paradiso gig where they did Decades and LWTUA.
The first time I heared Decades I was wowed. I had never heared anything quite like it before.
Its possibly the most depressing song ever written but its so emotionaly great. It also paved way to the New Order sound I think.

I was there too. I also saw the whole of the soundcheck, and still have my @music for miners @ badge from the gig.
