Cheers Marco, good review and piccies..one thought though.. how happy would Steve be with the fact that every piccie is of either Barney or Hooky?

Amazing pics, indeed...

And there's one of Stephen. But I guess it must be difficult to get good pics of him as he's kind of hidden behind his drums.

...and he always looks some kind of bored...

...and there's more pics of Barney's teleprompter than from Stephen himself... :D :D :D

Great pics, and a good review too. Three things arise in my mind from this though.....

  1. Is that Bass starting to get a little higher these days ?

  2. How long has Barney had that bloody video screen with the words ? Years of illusions shattered, or did the Es really do him that bad ? :(

  3. Pic 16 Hooky ?

He had them at Reading in 98...

Thanks for the tip, Marco. And the pictures are great.

(BTW, I think that they also could have made/shown a picture of Phil Cunningham, also contributing to the success of this tour!!! :nono: )

But, what's the problem ?

If he does more gigs because he doesn't have to memorize his lyrics, so why not ?

Only trouble is that it doesn't leave much place for setlists changes...

The video screens were also there during the London gigs.

And as regards flexibility.... computers must be able to store all songs, eh?

I can't rememeber him using them at the Uk shows. but then theres not much that I can remember of the UK shows...

and if necessary for any spontaneous change of program, I am always willing to wait a few minutes for them to re-program the videoscreens! :D

Very nice pics. Looking at pic. no. 11 it seems to me that Barney has difficulty counting how many times he has to sing "dance dance dance " in Transmission!:smoking:

Barney wouldn´t have to use the promper. He just has got to whatch the audience to get the lyrics.... Great Pics, especially the "mad-hookey"-one. Unfortunately nothing about Arthur Baker - he looked pretty cool with his headphones and his long hair (just like in the confusion video!)

I haven't been down the front since the NEC 89, so no wonder I couldn't see ! Never really thought about what gubbins is on stage. Bloody autocue though, that's almost taking the pish. Is that why it's the same set every night, because that's the order the song lyrics have been loaded ?

I always remember the Blisters of Percy used to have to play the same set every night because that was the order they were loaded into Dktr Snowflurry......
