Does anyone else own a copy of this 3 disk classic covering 15 years of cool tunes? If anyone does which is there favourite era and cd? I would plump for 82-86, a great mix of early hip hop and house music, plus it reminds me of being a teenager and dicovering this new music. The other discs are good to, 87-91 is excellent as it reminds me of my early clubing days and 92-97 makes you aware of how in England we have taken all these different American influences and turned it into something of our own, a bit like currys!!

CD 82-86 is mixed by Dave Rofe, CD 87-91 is mixed by Jon Desilva and CD 92-97 is mixed by Pete Robinson.

That looks quite good,especially disc2. I`ll have to look for that one.

Yup, I've got the 3CD set - favourite CD is the 87-91 set, as it includes early Hacienda house tracks by the likes of Derrick May and A Guy Called Gerald (aka Annette) - which is the reason I initially bought the set, although obviously the 82-86 tracklist is also very good! :)

Where did you buy your copy from Nick? I got mine from Picadilly records in Manchester, I think it cos me in the region of £23. I have never seen it since in any other record shop, although a mate of mine swears he has seen for sale at £5 in the Crewe Virgin Megastore.
