When I read Barney's recent interview about their recording process, it made me sooo excited! I kissed my wife and told her that New order might release something like a single already this year, and that they've recorded a dozen of songs so far! :) :)

Man that's kool shit!:thumb:

Yahooo. I'm so happy now.. Really! Though I know now that there'll be no concerts this year... oof :(

Ahhh... yes he is. But what still makes me puzzled is that his new supergroup. I just don't get how he can handle with two bands at once. What would New Order get from Hooky? And what would Freebass get? I wish he would concentrate on providing New Order with excellent basslines.:confused2:

Anyway, I'd be happy to see Freebass live, but apparently they are such a domestic English band. There's scarcely a chance to see them outside the UK.

Don't worry, Hooky has always had other projects while in New Order. He was fully involved in Revenge when they recorded Republic, and even before he did collaborations, productions etc. What no one must doubt is that, much more than for the others, for Hooky New Order are commitment number 1 (he's totally conscious of that, nothing's more important than New Order for him, everything comes after), it was so hard for him when they split... and you should have seen him backstage at the Apollo in 1998 when they reformed, I've rarely seen such a happy man, he told me it was the happiest day of his life, just like it was for me, he looked happier than if he was to get married... I don't think he'll ever take less care of New Order because of the side projects, that's just his fun in the spare time... he's a hard working man... ;)
