I thought this was, like, uber-rare, or is that the 85 show which was filmed by local students or something?

The 85 Toronto show was professionally filmed, and was the band's preferred live show ahead of Tokyo for the PFD video, but for some reason the Tokyo one got the vote.

Never heard of a 93 Toronto one.

Surely there's copies of this in circulation somewhere?

What is a torrent file and what do I need to watch it or listen to it?

Without going into tech details, a 'bit torrent' file in the sense of Sharing the Groove is a non-compressed audio or video file that is able to be downloaded in a 'loss-less' quality file (ususally as .flac instead of .wav or .mp3). Have a look at http://www.halm.us/bthq/newbie.html for details. The dedication to file quality for torrentialists (? may have just made that up) is great, but the size of the files is hellishly enormous - and is definately for broadband connections only!

As I'm on old steam-powered dial-up here, if anyone can point me to a DVD of Montreaux 93, I'm all ears.

Pretty crappy though, but since I was there, I wanted it! It's been digitalized on the New Order Videologies I did a few years back, I sent the original tape to the original owner though....

I don't remember who it was though, many people sent me stuff, but I do have the whole thing in MPEG...

Is that pretty crap in the case of video quality or show quality. I was at Toronto '93 rather lacklustre as were the three following shows in the states.Still be interested to see it though for the same reason that I was there.
