I could have bought copies of each colour cover just by going round the second hand shops in London - total cost approx £40.

Actually, I bought them. I'm not even a big collector of records, per se, but they were there, I don't have them all, so I splashed out when the chance appeared. What exactly is wrong with that?

Nice one AL.....welcome to FAC 53 ROCKET MICK'S COLLECTORS CLUB.Can i just add as a BIG collector of these said items it took me 20 years and two other NOOL's from here(MURV and HUNTSMAN) to achieve this.And one of them has a NEW ORDER in left hand corner so is an IMPORT.The others i did get the hard way by going around the SHOPS.But great that someone else has got my FAC 53 fetish.I did not really go for the SINGLES at first in7 inch format cos the 12 inchers are better(SIZE DOES MATTER... :D ) but i now LOVE this part of the VAST collection.So keep the faith and well done AL.£100 is a couple of nights out or 1 if you go out with SHUGZV and have to buy as per usual!

What exactly is wrong with that? nothing wrong with that my son! nice to get all the different sleeves at once. i only have two of the different sleeves at present .i'm just too lazy to go and have a look round record shops! ebay is quick and convenient if you are lazy like me! i bought a job lot of no vinyl,about 10 12s off ebay,excellent value too! the price you paid was probably over the odds,but,someone would have probably bought them on buy it now anyway! regards :nuts:

BTW: If you, or anyone else for that matter, have the purple Fac53 for sale/trade, please let me know...

*lol* Nothing wrong with that at all Al, but it's a shame people don't ask around - 40 quid or so over the top mate... £10 a throw when you can by them for £3 tp £5...

Still, a friend and I often go to London and other places to trawl around for rarities, so if there's anything else you're after, I may either have a duplicate, or be able to find you a copy within a month.
