it seems DJ Medusa is the first to get her cds. I guess because she live close to Baltimore :)

I wonder if you know how long such things take to get accross the pond? I suppose if you're in Baltimore that's good, it'll spend less time in the US internal post :-) Mind you, thank $DEITY that I live in Northern Ireland and not the republic. I once sent 2 cd's one to Co. Cavan ( bout 80-100miles) and one to tenessee. Gues one got there first!!!

We took a copy of Community to WWVU FM the WVU college radio station (George dj'd there and still is good friends with the General Manager... ) Not that I'm an REM fan really, but WWVU was one of the first to break them into the college intellect back in their early days, so they have a good reputation as far as a college station goes... Hopefully, we'll get some air time, and maybe get into the lists as a station "favorite?" Who knows?? We could get reported to CMJ or something. You never know!

Thanks Rachel!

I'm glad your cds arrived safely. I really appreciate the work you guys put in for this project! :D

Actually, most of us are tunesmiths anyway, so really it was a piece of piss for most if us ( though I'm sure there were some for whom this was there first musical effort, and big respect and kudos to em)...... YOU guys on the other hand.....ever done a major international talent contest before? or squared up to music copyright law, or indeed conceived, guided, organised and released (on time!!!!!) a major tribute album involving dozens of artists from every line of latitude and longitude on the globe ( not going to fall for the "earth has corners" flame :) ).....nope?...and yet you managed to get this all right on the first time.

I say, you should stop blowing sunshine up all our arses and take the time to pat yourself on the back.

THREE CHEERS FOR THE NOOL POSSE!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Just got home Micheal, and guess what was waiting for me in the mailbox? The packaging is indeed very well done, love the retroforward logo as well. Gonna crack open a couple of cold ones in a few minutes to enjoy the fruits of labor from all concerned. Well done again on this project:) :thumb:

Just got mine! That's what I call service, especially as it seems at times that carrier pigeons are still used by the postal service over here. :D Just listened to the EP, have to say that Nemesis' cover of Crystal is quality.

I probably won't get a chance to have a proper listen until the weekend, but in the mean-time a big well done/hats off/respect to all involved in the project. I can only imagine what it feels like to see all the hard work pay off in such style. :thumb:

So now we know it made it to Europe!

I wonder if any of the Japanese and Australian member can tell us when they get their cds.

Of course, I could have driven to Mike's place and picked them up, and I'm sure I'll be the LAST to have them.

YIPPEE!

They've made it to Washington State.

Great job to all involved. I hope the barking dog who was crying for a refund spent his 20 dollars on something REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT. Personally, the extra wait meant absolutely nothing. Patience is a virtue etc.

Congrats to the NOOL Community.

Another one to Washington State!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Community has reached the anus of the universe that is Bangor, Northern Ireland, UK!!!!!!!!!!![1] My bought set and my artist's freebie arrived safe and sound, just got to unfaith, will review later, SO impressed so far ( mind you , I aint heard the SNSS yet :) )

[1]..That's UK, not IR, although it all depends who you ask and we don't expect anyone else to have to understand our F*d up little religious war. To be honest I don't give a monkey's I'd always say I'm Irish not British, but I'm quite happy being in part of the UK. Best bet is always list those of us from " the little bit of Ireland that passeth all understanding" as NI. ( Eddie Irvine Begged the FIA to let him be listed as such, because no matter whether an Irish or British flag were raised, there would be hell to pay from some retard with a cause). The point is, that I couldn't care less, but there are some serious sisterf*ers in this country and they do care sadly :( End rant.

If I don't get it today, I'll always wonder if Tim's postman made it here.. :skeptic:

Speaking of which, I'm sorry Tim, I noticed yesterday I still used Known Pleasures everywhere on this board! But I believe the name has been changed on the EP (and album for the thanks)
