I've read on here that there is more than one version of Let's Go. I have only heard the fantastic Best of version - can someone tell me about the others or give me a d/l link? Cheers.

You are talking about the intrumental from the Salvation movie soundtrack and the "demo" vocal version.

Check the media section of this site!

There's two mixes of the 1995 vocal version: one that doesn't fade out on the American edition of 'The Best Of...', and another featured on the 1963 CD2 and 'Retro' that fades at the end.

if you think THAT version is good, you should be impressed with the instrumental and the demo which are far superior ! IMHO of course :)

The demo is among the best that NO has ever done. So sad.

Just having a listen to my mp3 of the original vocal version. Sounds like it's taken from an iffy cassette, but the actual production sounds almost as if it's a finished mix. Would be nice if this could one day see the light of day on a reissue. When was this version originally recorded anyway? The drums sound very 'Brotherhood' era, but the vocals and synths are reminiscent of the 'Low-life' material. Love the long instrumental passage in the middle (the synthy bit from the 'Salvation' mix). A shame they never released this is its original version - it certainly sounds like they spent some considerable time working on it!

You know Bernard.. if they didn't release that version and recreate a full one in 1995, it's because he doesn't like it, so he doesn't want it to see the light of day!

It's a great song. I believe it was made during the Low Life era but the band decided not to put it on the album.
