Anybody see Hooky last night in Manchester?

Me and my mate went to South to see him DJ. It was a good night he played lots of JD/NO stuff.

He did a brillaint remix of Blue Monday and an usual one of She's Lost Control.

He must have played for at least two hours before Clint Boon took over.

yeah i was there. it was good. he didnt seem to me to know what he was doing at the start but when he got going it was rockin although the last tune he played was terrible!! real bad, cheesy house.

i collared him later on and bent his ear with drunken babble, he said he thought the rob gretton tribute was really good. i asked him how the album was going but i cant remember what he said! too pissed...

great night though.

I was under orders not to be a fawning eejit, so didn't speak to Hooky myself. The girlfriend asked him for TF for me though & he duly obliged. Top man.

Thanks for that True Faith. I missed most the Clint Boon set as my mate was about to faint due to heat so we had to leave. We were at the front of the DJ both for most the night though, it was quite wiered being so close to Hooky (speaking as a young NO/JD fan)

So we left just as the Dove's pounding came on.

I thought the remix of Blue Monday was good does anybody what that was?

I was most surprised he played ATB sandstorm, it brings me back a lot of memories of my teenage years.

He played that version of She's Lost Control at the Tribeca Grand gig in New York last November. Did anyone ever discover what it was? Reckon someone posted round about the time with the details but not sure. Well worth tracking down.

What.... are ATB not as good as Darude!!!??? me and my mates just stopped when he played that, we were like 'why is he playing this? who's round is it?'. he also played out of control and transmission, which sounded great.
