I could make one of those in five minutes. Hmmm...there's an idea.

General rule is that any autograph on Ebay is likely to be fake.

However, I don't think the average person would fake an Ian Curtis autograph and try to sell it on Ebay. I don't think it would occur to the average person to do it when they could do it for someone much more famous and get more money for it. And if you look at the sellers feedback all the items bought/sold are music related so I'm guessing the person is an actual collector of music memorabilia. And the other item this seller has up for auction is a Sid Vicious autograph.

I'd say that more likely than not, it's real. But because autographs are so easily forged, I wouldn't take a risk.

what I really like about this is that the "frame is not included"??? Then why include the postcard (worth about a buck) How is he going to send it....just throw is in an envelope? Goofball.

Don't know about the autograph but the photo of Ian is my favourite of all time.

that autograph went pretty high! US$313.90!

the thing that makes me suspicious is the fact that there was no reserve price! I think if I had an ORIGINAL ian curtis autograph I would probably put a pretty high reserve price on it.

Personally, I would love an Ian Curtis autograph. But, you're right, I don't think this is an original.

No, they hate doing that sort of thing.

bernard is the one who hates signing, the rest of the band would happily sign autographs (inc Ian)
