Barcode shirt....who wants one?

Hey everyone,

I took some time on photoshop and re-made the famous barcode concert shirt from their 93 Republic tour.

I am going to have my friend at the t-shirt place make me one, but then I realized that more people might want one. If I were to put the shirt up for a "dutch" auction on ebay.com; would anyone be willing to buy one? If I can get an "unofficial" headcount, I could have him make up a batch and then ship them out to you...

Anyway, just seeing if there would be a demand for the shirt? If and when I put it up on ebay, I will put a picture up of the shirt and make it a reasonable price, special for neworderonline fans!

Just wondering...

If it's quality, I might be interested in one.

This is one I wanted, but was limited on the budget and got a Republic & "Live from Republic" one instead...

Put up a pic of it, and I'll let you know!

My favorite music t-shirt of all time. So good I had two of them, both have long since perished.

I don't fancy bidding anywhere for anything of neworder, but if there's a set price, I would definitely snap one up.

Yes, that is the shirt. I don't have a picture of it other than my photoshop file, but when I have him make one; I will then post a picture of the shirt in all of it's glory.

Yeah, I don't think I want people bidding on the shirt; I will just make a fixed price and then make a number of them available.

I just got tired of searching for the shirt and waiting for bluecat to make one, so I just made my own. By the way, the shirt will have a front and a back...

It's a very beautiful shirt, but who from here was there? If I get one of those, someone could look and say "cool, was you there?", and I would have to say "no, i just like the shirt".

It's the same feeling like you wearing a Harvard Law School shirt when your studying in some crap college like MIT :evil4:

Well, I purchased mine at the Dallas gig that year...first gig of the "tour"...I bought that one, and my (at the time) wife purchased the black one with the map of the United States with the states size changed to represent the population rank. Odd, I still have the black one in my posession..

Might be nice to put "NEWORDERONLINE" instead of New Order though...

This is definitely exciting!! I will be going to the t-shirt shop next week and seeing what they can do.

I kind of liked the idea of putting neworderonline on it; should I put some writing on the shirt that makes it a little more up to date? Perhaps, instead of "niceguy merchandising etc..." I could put:

"visit neworderonline.com....???"

Not a bad thought...

I would like one as well.

I bought that shirt and the black long sleeve version at the shows in 1993 (I was at Shoreline and the Hollywood Bowl). Bought back ups at the record store I worked at a few months later. The back ups are still in superb condition.

I prefer the long sleeve version. It has an expiration date on the back "Good thru 1994". I guess they already knew the tour was the end of the line at that point.

For someone with the actual shirt,

I have been going by the pictures on this site and others for the design of the shirt. I don't actually own the shirt anymore. Just to be absolutely sure, what is the color pattern of the barcode lines? Is it RED, BLUE, ORANGE, GREEN...it is difficult to tell. Now, looking at the picture of the shirt that was shown in the this post, it looks like there is some yellow in the shirt. Perhaps, someone can take a more closeup picture of the barcode so I can actually get the colors right. I don't want to mess this up...

Not that sad, I bet some muppet has been even sadder and tried running it through a barcode reader to see what comes up...

The colour code list is quite sad actually! Still i've often wondered if the barcode actually decodes into an actual item.

That was very helpful, actually...I will try to make this shirt almost exactly like the original; without getting sued, hopefully.
