An interview with Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce the other week mentioned that, providing they could get them in a room together, Bernard and Liam Gallagher could provide vocals for the freebass project......Yet another delay for the NO album? ...even worse, an association with those talentless wasters oarses.....:nonono:

Oasis, just because they are from Manchester doesn't mean newOrder has to have anything to do with them.

Indeed. Just call Morrissey in to do the vocals...not like he's doing anything right now. Or better yet, call the Ryder Bros.

Check my album news... this one is solid... the mixing of the new album will be done soon, so it won't be done until then for sure!

A few months ago, WIM announced that Matt "Fella" Clayson would be the Freebass vocalist, so unless something's happened that we don't know about, this would all seem to be media speculation.

In the Bennicassim programme/freesheet, Mani was interviewed about his "8 favourite songs", he had "age of consent" in there, and said he was working with hooky at the moment on freebass - no more. I guess its not a big joke then.
