ok normally we talk about hearing one new order tune in a programme.

watch 'burn it' on BBC 3 (UK) and hear their whole back catalogue! it was on last week when this site was down so i couldn't post, it was *full* of NO tunes.

i caught the last 10 mins of the episode today and got turn my way & thieves like us. plus a happy mondays tune that i forgot.

oh next episode started. the recap to turn my way. now a bit from crystal. heh. now the line 'youll tear her apart' heheheh. now true faith. now kinky afro. and now in the club i believe it's Paul Ryder (he played the guy in 24HPP). another happy mondays tune whose name escapes me. actually a lot less this week as they spent loads of time in clubs listening to newer music lol

actually its not a bad programme. in fact with swiss tony its probably the only watchable thing on 'bbc pee'

Hence the credits of the show including "Sound Track: New Order"

The entire sound track is NO, basically. It is set in Manchester after all, and (unfortunately, depending on opinion) a lot of New Order stuff fits well in soundtracks. Whereas Oasis/Smiths/Mondays isn't as suited for TV show soundtracks.

Is that the one Scary Spice in it? Christ she really is scary, or her accent is anyway. As Bo' Selecta correctly depicts her only line really does seem to be "Eehhh by gum, he an't gowne and dumped you again as' ee?" The blonde bird :love2: is extremely fit, if she didn't look so miserable and worried all the time, wasn't she in Holby City?

I've seen the prog occasionally, like This Life only set in the north and with better looking folk. The end credit music is Run Wild, and Vanishing Point appears at random. I was surprised too at first, but then thought, good for the BBC! Can't hurt NO's profile.

Yep it's Mel B. the blonde bint is lisa faulkiner you are right, shes from holby.

i can't see how bo selecta can take the piss out of anything, its more repetative than a boy band chorus. and when he is not nobbing about in a plastic chin his other great comic character is - a sex mad scandinavian. wow, that is sooo original, how come nobody else has thought of that?

oh yeah. the reason its loads better than 'this life' is it doesn't use that horrible crappy 'shakeycam' and is not horribly pretencious

LOL! Not to start a racial war ;), but I find even the strongest Scots accent a bit less intimidating than Mel B's... One of my mates is from Yorkshire and I still can't understand a bloody thing he says :D Heheh.

Rab C is a legend, leave his string vests alone

Happened with Blue Monday with me, and even scarier, *it was almost the exact same point in the track*.

Then again, considering Q102's night DJ plays BM every time he thinks he'll get away with it (its so long it messes up timing slots, apparently), it could happen a lot.

Haven't heard any NO tracks like that, but I did hear Come Dancing by The Kinks three complete times in a row on the radio, by tuning into another station when the first one, and then the second one was done playing. Absolutely true story.
