Spike, have you really not seen ANY new order vids???
Get yourself to Yahoo launch, they have 5 or 6 new order clips...oh...and that is yahoo.com...yahoo.co.uk doesn't have any new order...what the hell is up with that?
i love the spooky vid, very original and funny. probably my fave bit though is the slowmo section when they are dancing, excellent to go with the hyped up rest of it.
i think the box thing at the start was an attempt to create a ubiquitous image in the same way as the face slap from true faith does.

The video is strange and may not parallel most people's tastes, but I like it. I don't know why, but I do.
This may upset a certain Webmaster (it's his avatar!), but I think the video is a pile of tripe, along with such steaming piles of crap like Run2 and RIAD!

I can't say I like the Spooky vid. It reminds me of some of the Shamen videos, I don't know why. Too be honest, I can't think of any New Order video that I would say I really love. I really don't get some of them at all!!!

It's not half as bad as the Fine Time or 1963 vids
If memory serves me correctly, it was directed by the same person who did The Shamen's Ebeneezer Goode video, much the same characteristics. I may have read this somewhere in a drug induced state, so I may be wrong. I certainly cannae be arsed to go check it out! Personally I quite like the video. Spooky should never have been a single though, London records cashing in methinks
even the spooky single cover looked lame - the font was gothic, and horrible. and that they got paul van dyk to remix it... ugh.
The two blokes in the spooky vid also appear in the vid for 'for you'.
I like it by the way.

I like Run too. I think substances other than alcohol were affecting Barney there.
My faves tho are BLT and Regret
I'm ambivalent about the Spooky vid. It's not one of my favorites, but it's not one that's completely boring (like Run, RIAD). It's no where near TPK, Confusion, or TBTHOG, but, then again, it would've been more interesting if NO were wearing the boxes on their heads.

Actually, that didn't come over anywhere near how I intended it. I've got nothing against the Shamen's vids because they really fit with their music, in fact they were one of my fav bands when I was at school!! I just don't think NO's Spooky vid works that with the song. It does put me in mind of some of the Shamen vids but it just hasn't really worked on that occasion!!
My favourite NO vids are probably those for Confusion, Here to Stay, Perfect Kiss and Regret and I think they all capture the songs quite well.
Crystals vid is superb.Like the "invasion" at the end and its kind of funny how the guy is still trying to dance like a demented dervish while all around him is kicking off
