Does this place still exist? this is where JD rehearsed and filmed the video for LWTUA. Did any other bands use this place?

Oh, and today is my second anniversary of being a member of this web-site YAY! thanx to everyone who posts here and to the people that run this site. Cheers. ![]()
Don't remember seeing it, but then again it wasn't the sort of place you'd look out for. It was basically across the road from the Hacienda behind the arches. Wilson used to own a massive penthouse flat there that he'd had converted from a warehouse.
TJM Records had their base there, and all the bands on that label used the rehearsal rooms as well as JD.
it was demolished in the mid 80s if I remember correctly, was a car park for quite a while then eventually redeveloped (offices I think)
Thank you both for your info. Always been curious about the place, it is where a lot JD songs came together.
Barney: have you written lyrics for the new songs? Ian: yeah, i've written lyrics for every song Barney: yes. i know you have, but what about the new songs? Peter: lets just fucken jam. Peter: i'm not getting involved in this.

A certain Sultan would just have to have that door in his collection.

I'm sure David would, but it probably did get painted over, or ended up on the scrape heap.
