Publishing/Copyright

Can anyone remember the URL of the website that houses the database of copyrighted music by songwriter ? I'm working on a new track at the moment that I want to include a couple of samples, and I need to know who to contact. Any help in locating this database would be appreciated.

Thanks, but that's not the sort of thing I'm after. A thread was posted on this on here about two years ago or so, but I can never get the search facility to work at the best of times !
