Anyone know why the "commonwealth games bid" version of temptation has footage from Reading instead of the actual performance? I know that wasn't it cos it was on about mid day and I watched it. I think the sound was from said performance though. Oh yeah, Bernard's shirt changes towards the end, too!

I went into HMV the other day and 316 was no where to be seen :(

Dunno...

I was there and it was the only thng that aroused the 2 goths nearby into standing up b4 realising that it wasnt Garbage coming onstage.

I hope they tour as well. I missed the nearest loca l(glasgow) show but made it to Cologne which was entertaining.

Will make an effort to see them outside the uk again although I may stand out as I have neither a mullet or a lighter to stick in the air

Couldn't get permission to use the original footage.

Both 3 16 and 5 11 are available in HMV,it seems that they along with The Best Of? and Retro (4 disc) are the only items they stock.

My girlfriend bought 3 16 and 5 11 within a week of each other; total cost $35. :thumb:

The sound is in fact an edited version of Reading 98. It was merely "recorded" (Which may be a bit deceptive in it's wording) for the Commonwealth Games.

I seem to remember it being the worst possible performance of the song ever, Barney singing the verses when the band were playing the chorus etc. Or is my memory failing....

I dunno for certain but that seems slightly diffcult to believe with the presence of teleprompters and Barney's religious use of them.

HMV on Henry Street had 316, 511, the Here To Stay DVD single, Get Ready, Substance (proper triple width), International, Retro and Low Life and Republic in last time I checked... however, not Movement or Brotherhood, neither of which I've been able to find here...

Well the DVD section for NO in my local HMV wasn't even there. It used to be but it looks like they've sold out. I'll keep checking.

Too fucking bad I've owned them since their release in Japan [at a much higher price!] :nonono:

What is the Here to Stay DVD single? And, do you know if it's anywhere to be found in the US?

Hey I finally got 316. I went to another HMV near to me and they had it. I also come accross the 511 dvd but this was in a difference case. Instead of the 511 cover where there is a blurred shadow of hooky (which i have) there were clouds on this 1, it still said 511 etc. Is there any difference apart from just the cover? I assume its some kind of limited edition cover right?

Exactly what it says on the tin. The last few singles have also come in DVD format so you get the video plus some other nonsense.

I guess US availability would be patchy?
