I think drugs may be involved. Dirty Vegas are a rather good UK band producing some seriously kicking tunes, I can see a similarity between their new single "Walk Into The Sun" and New Order, which I think is what he may be getting at.

hmm... I was never a fan of Dirty Vegas.

They're to Underworld what the Crystal Method are to the Chemical Brothers

(a knock-off with some pop thrown in)

I remember a long time ago, a member of Dirty Vegas actually came to the UW MB's... but that's not a very interesting story. He just wanted us to check them out (please oh please) and I think was even like, 'anyone want to jam w/ us/' but that one I could be wrong about.

I actually saw Dirty Vegas last year. Boy, were they woeful. One fo the most boring gigs i have ever seen. They had a decent instrumental called "brazilian."

Anyway, i said to them "Heard it before, New Order." Dont think they were to impressed. Then again, i wasnt impressed after forking out a tenner for a ticket. Mug.

...I don't know about them being huge over here.

they had a big single - "Days Go By" but that's about it...

and yeah, I remember even readin reviews (at a Borders) saying that they were a mix of Underworld and REM

it's better to just buy an Underworld disc
