Cool Down Sp! I would never compare the two of them except as Masters and Plagiarists.
Having said that, considering what's involved here shouldn't you replace the guillotine with a noose?

They are not alike. Micheael Hutchence turned into a Twat who thought he was a Rock god, and couldn't handle the fact that their music had become progressivly worse, and hence sold fewer records with each release. Their best stuff for mine is the early to mid 80s, such as The Swing.

I use to see INXS live in the early 80's and they were great my favourite album of their's is their first; inxsesive, and then it was downhill from there.
INXSive is a compliation of there first two albums INXS and UNDERNEATH THE COLOURS if you liked INXSive youll love those but i think there impossible to get these days since they were released on a small independent label

Yeah, I have both those albums (somewhere in my dad's garage) but INXSive will always be my favourite, and then they released "Kick" and the single "Suicide Blonde" and i thought to myself "what is this shit?" but the Americans swallowed it in bucketloads, and now INXS are doing a reality show in America to find a new singer (they have already had two; Terence Trent D'Arby and John Stevens) give it up guys, your career ended over a decade ago.

Yup! Suicide Blond did them in big time!! I did and DO still enjoy KICK though. I can't really knock it too much. I still think it definately has the 'Stamp' of the old INXS. Shaboo Shabah (SP?) was their definitive album for me!!
