From the official Pet Shop Boys website:

'Q' Awards - 5 October '04 Chris and Neil celebrated Chris's birthday at the 'Q' magazine awards in London where they were given the 'Q' Inspiration Award. Bernard Sumner of New Order presented them with the award. Previous winner of this award have included The Cure, John Lydon, Joe Strummer, New Order, Patti Smith, U2, David Bowie and Brian Eno. Other winners in different categories this year included Franz Ferdinand, Keane, The Human League and Roxy Music.

Anybody seen that ?

i was at the Q awards. Bernard presented the Pet Shop Boys with a Merit award or something like that. He was on pretty good form..taking the piss out of Jonathan Ross (who was compering) and dropping hints that they'd all been taking drugs at The Groucho.

We'll just have to wait untill the magazine comes out. For us down here thats 2 months after it comes out in the UK.

These music mag awards usally appear on satellite Music TV over here in the UK. Anybody heard if it's going to be broadcast on Q's dedicated music channel or another one such as The Amp?

roxy won one of the q nominated awards - lifetime acheivement i think it was.

snow patrol were best newcomers three albums into their career :nonono:

I'll check Sky tonight, most likely it will be shown on one of the music channels, Q even have their own channel so its quite likely! :)

All arse except for MacGowan, and maybe the Franz Ferdinand video....

The Q Awards Backstage show is on Sky Q channel 453 repeated all day today - its a 4 hour show mind you!

Barney didnt make it onto the show in case your wondering It was just 4 hours of Q arse licking the new trendy acts and raving on about U2 and Elton John!! :thumbdown:

PSB got 2 of their videos shown but no presentation :nonono:

It looked a naff ceremony anyways :evil4:

I can't agree more. I spent half the weekend waiting for them to show it, but to no avail :cry:
