Far better the Michael Hutchence Snakebelt , fooker'd still be alive today if he'd used a snakebelt .
Note to those nools unfamiliar with the uk snakebelt , said belt has a very elastic quality , Jarvis Cocker wears one ; possibly ironically ; then again he might like the odd kinky wank whilst suspended from a hotel door , who knows .. to each , their own etc
Question NOW is.....
How come you're so genned up on the Ole Snake Belt?
You been trying to knock one('s self) out....so to speak?

Ah young Clash type padawan , knowledge is power as a fella with glasses once said , however in this case , knowledge is practical .
The snakebelt was the belt of choice for any self -respecting Salford lad in the early seventies , also to be found over the Pennines in Yorkshire ( see the film Kes for tips on the wearing of said belt ), in fact one could say it is the ideal belt for the temporarily rotund ; as it needs no new belthole drilling into it with each passing month , unlike me leather belt which even now is in need of a slight " adjustment ", no the snakebelt is truly accomadating , however with Jarvis Cocker now pushing it's merits I'm afraid it may be too expensive soon :(
As for the naughty antipodean ? His suicide or accidental death was the subject of a sunday pub chat amongst the lads , some felt Miss Yates being no substitute for Helena Christensan the lad offed hiself in despair , others felt that miss y being shit compared to miss c meant the lad decided to have a weird " tug " as it were ....
Our kid felt we'd know the answer for sure if the aussie had used a snakebelt on account of it's ability to be stretched away from the neck .... none of us however could explain the Tory MP and his predeliction for Oranges
Hmmm - that whole wanking/strangulation thing never really made any sense to me, but Mr Hutchence was a bona fide rock star. Recall seeing INXS play in Stoke sometime in 1993: now there was a man who knew how to work a crowd, even if the music was shite....

Ye'd be most welcome Wee Shuglet , last nights topics included the noise the martian ray gun makes on Jeff Waynes War of the Worlds, some feel Spielbergs new film will be shit if he dont use it , similarly using David Essex can only fuck it up , surprisingly some of the young fellas voiced opinions too ; apparently there was a mix Mr Scruff did which used the sound ... meself I could only offer the opinion that Jeff Wayne was shit , Richard Burton however still shone and history will forget David Essex in time ... hopefully.
Glad ye like the DVD's ![]()
I imagine some pedant will move this to BCD soon and then it'll die .
However to remain on topic , what shit could one invent and make to sell to this die hard collector , there may be a pretty penny to be had afore Christmas![]()

Lest we forget, Shuglet, Stoke-on-Trent is the birthplace of Britain's foremost light entertainer, Mr Robert Williams. The Potteries also gave the world Lemmy from Motorhead, Slash from Guns and Roses, Altern8 and, er, Candyflip.
ROCK and FUCKING ROLL!!!;)

Oh, please!
I was speaking to a guy on SUNDAY who works for TRACKS that specialize in BEATLE memorabilia and he had some superb tales to tell.He asked me had i any idea how much the ORIGINAL handwritten lyrics for various JOY DIVISION and NEW ORDER songs are worth.I told him that i had NO IDEA.These would NOT really appeal to my COLLECTING ideas, neither would i like to own a HOUSE owned by any member of the BAND.I did say that maybe a certain D.SULTAN would be interested though. So does anyone in NOOL LAND know of ANY such memorabilia being offered or SOLD recently.I know this guy is GENUINE in as much as years ago i bought WESTWOOD ONE (READING 93 ) via him.He says he has some more like this so if i get the chance i will get them from him at £10 each.I paid £35 10 years ago for READING but obviously with E-BAY and the INTERNET this is FAR TOO MUCH these days.As a side issue he had collected 300 PAIR of RETRO trainers.I told him his house must STINK!
