10 From 10 : Compilation Album Featuring Manchesters Current Crop Covering the Citys Classics

Release Date : Manchester Release 1st November 2004 (with limited ITC pre-release). National Release 1st January 2005.

Compilation featuring 10 of the Citys new guard covering 10 of the Citys classics. The album, with artwork by John Squire, was pre-released in September for Manchesters In The City music conference during which the bands were successfully showcased by a major driving force behind the new scene that is Blowout.

The album will be released by Manchester Independent Label Concrete Recordings on CD and a limited 500 individually numbered 12 vinyl pressings. The front cover artwork has been supplied by the legendary John Squire, good friend of the albums creator and renowned Roses tour manager, Mr. Steve Adj Atherton. The compilation portrays the diversity of music that has emerged from the City, ranging from The Smiths to the Bee Gees, from the Hollies to the Happy Mondays, from Joy Division to 10cc.
