True Faith Video - 6.13minute version.

Fellow New Order compadres. I acquired a VHS video in 1994 from a video jukebox company based in the UK after viewing in my local. The extended video runs for 6mins 13secs and is the 94 12" Perfecto Remix track. I've looked thru many discographies and found nothing. Am I the only one who owns this video ??? Tony

I know the one you mean as i've got best of..vid.This one though that i've got contains only original 87 stuff but includes extra footage including outakes, diff scenes that weren't inc in the 7" 1987 video...plus the track is perfecto dance remix.

This just reminded me. I was in the warner bros store at meadowhall in sheffield years ago and they played BLT on the big screen in the shop except it was the 94 version and the video was different. The ending was a different colour (the bit where all the video plays through quickly) and there were some other things i've forgotten too.

Or maybe i'm just going insane.

Nuts, very observant of you. It does appear though, as last week i tested the water with the video itself on e-bay, that either this version is more widely available than i first thought or people dont believe it exists !! (incidently the dvdr is much better quality visually). Tony

Question...why does someone pay £50plus for example the gatefold substance. Same tracks as standard issue. Why, because of its limited availability, exclusive cover, its collecable.

The Gatefold Substance wasn't knocked up in someone's front room using an 80p recordable DVD.

Your best bet, and I'm genuinely trying to be helpful here, is to mail the webmaster at worldinmotion.net He's got enough to open a New Order museum someday, so he'll probably be interested.

The DIFFERENCE being the SUBSTANCE is a GENUINE article not a fake or COPY.Thus people will pay for that at face value like a painting but a PRINT or a painting is worthless.Also note that some DVD's have been sent out with 30 or so PROMOS.How much...PRICELESS for the friendship.Not having a go though cos as it says on my GENUINE original,MINTY MINT copy of SUBSTANCE with a classic sleeve that i paid very little for(£20-when the album was a £10).....NOT FOR RESALE unless desperate.Now if you have a POT NOODLE (empty) that BARNEY has eaten from...well i will defo pay £3 for this.But it must be a REMIXED Beef and Tom!And welcome to this loony site TONY. as I said £35 is too much for something so "unique" and "collectable" that you can make 10,000 copies of if you feel like and will only cost you 30p each.

No, you're not the only person who has a copy of this. I got it on E-bay last year for a fiver. Tacky DVD-R copy, but a fiver all the same.

a bit dubious to stir up interest in a rarity you just happen to be selling on Ebay as your first post. you obviously aren't familiar with the way things work here because if one of us gets a gem or makes a DVD with the collected television appearences of newOrder, it gets mailed out for next to nothing, all in the good name of being a devoted New Order fan. We also, for the most part, respect the band enough to not try and profit off their backs by bootlegging, then selling the product. You have a semi-rare promo video that you're asking about here to fascilitate a proper description on your Ebay listing. Bad form.

Is this the same one thats on the International bonus DVD? with footage of them smashing up the stage at the end?

My best guess about this "exclusive" is that it's a mash up of the US and UK versions of the video, set to the soundtrack of the Perfecto mix. I would also guess, as it isn't listed anywhere, is that it's unofficial.
