If people are so worried about the songs getting out illegally, they should get it on iTunes. I would pay the .99. It seems to be working for other bands.

I'm sure they will. Although it seems silly to pay for the songs and not just pick up a copy of the album
I don't see what you're saying. The single has a release date (7 March) and you're saying it should come out on the internet earlier? Then what is the point of a release date? Sorry if I misunderstood you.

Yes some bands release the single on itunes the same day or before it hits radio. I would pay the .99 for Krafty now, then by the CD single on the 7th, then the album.
My guess is in the near future, most bands will release this way, it was huge for U2.

Well its out on the radio today, so someone will/may copy it and put it on one of those download sites.

What's the fun in this? I'd prefer to own the full thing in my hands and admire it ;)
I've always had issues (probably injustified) with online music stores.. can you move your "certificate" to another computer, what happens if you need to format your computer and is there a way to redownload the same song if your file is corrupted... I'm having a hard time with this concept.. I prefer to have the disk and rip it myself!
Actually...I will probably also want to buy the online version.
I'm heading off to the Carribbean for a week on the 27th of march and I can almost guarantee you that my chances of seeing a copy in Anguilla are next to zero.
If it was downloadable...at least then there is a chance that I could download it and put it onto my mp3 player while I was on vacation and had plenty of time to listen to it...
Of course I will be buying the full album (probably a couple of copies) but really dont want to have to wait any more than necessary to hear the new NO!
plus I think that there are more and more people that will prefer downloadable music over time from a convenience sake...IMHO we should want NO to be easily accessible for these fans as well.

Well I do think there is a point actually. Usually the whole single has several remixes and a b side or two...buying the song online is just for the regular version of the song.
I downloaded Doves new single for 99p a few weeks ago from 7digital.Ill be buyibg the actual CD when it hits the shops on Feb 7th still as i want the artwork and the couple of b sides.I`m in support of the idea od having the single to download earlier and will still buy the CD(s) whne they come out.

Me too. And I want the real thing even more now that I know FortyFive is one of those b-sides...
Regarding iTunes, Mr Sultan says it will be available, but doesn't say when.
