Pheeeew, the song is good. Ha, by chance it's the first song that was being played when I tuned to the show. And I thought - it must be New Order (the sound quality was horrible)! Well, I even dare say that I found myself missing a bit of guitary sound like that on Crystal. But allinall, it's a nice tune, though not a crashing rocker like 'Crystal' or 'Regret'!

did anybody think it was mixed badly? the bass and drums seemed to dominate and it sounded like it was being played underwater? we've seen what bad mixing/production can do to new order records *coughs* republic brotherhood, hope the album's not like this. :(

Fantastic electronic intro, great hooky bass. Intro sounds very much like a fisherspooner song... Vocals and rest of song a bit 'light n fluffy', but sure it will grow into a classic. Initial thought is the song could have had more electronic emphasis. But it's great - its New Order back!

Whiley mentioned UK tour in April, oh and Cure and NO mentioned in same breath as influences on killers/franz f.......:D

doesnt have to be 320 kbps, won't improve the quality of the stream anyway. 128 is more than enough, 96kbps may even be sufficient.

If I were to encourage this (which I'm not!), I'd say you'd better put it in a p2p software and let the others get it, 38 mb via email is far too much.

And 38 mb, what is this? a WAV file? it can't be a mp3... otherwise you have recorded 30 mins of stuff...? if it's not a mp3, then compress it to mp3.

First time posting, but been lingering for a while. Anybody know if any airings are expected in Canada (TO preferably)? Would love to hear the new track. The anticipation is bringing me back to the days of sitting in front of the radio waiting for 102.1 9 (toronto) to air fine time for the first time. Sounds like a return to form. It may be bloody cold here right now, but the promise of great new record is making it all a little easier to bear.

Please can someone (like the last one receiving it) send an E Mail message to mickem159@yahoo.it with the MP3 attached? I promise to send it to the next one asking after I'll have received it. That's how it should work, so no one has to send to a lot of people and everyone can receive and return a favour... Of course everyone entering this forum will buy the single, I think there's no doubt about this... it's just while we wait... I've got a copy on tape but would like to hear it on MP3 too meanwhile... Hey, it's happening all so fast... :) Received it four times, sent it three times... Thank you all. Forgot to say tomorrow I'm leaving until next Saturday. I'm really sorry I didn't say it before because it seems I don't wanna send the file meanwhile, but it would be no problem for me since I have a DSL connection and it takes a minute... anyway if next Sunday there's still anyone else without the file please write me and I'll send the file to everyone asking it. Anyway I will be online still for another hour or so, hence you're still in time to ask me now, I'll send to everyone. Once again, it's obvious we'll buy the single, totally obvious. We're New Order fans, I am and it's even in my nickname! ;) Some of the copies I've received are from the French broadcast and the quality is very good... heard this way, the song sounds a bit better, the instrumentation is cool, its only problem is the tune is a bit predictable... Thanks again.
