Here's one for the class: Who would win a tarmac rally between Barney driving a Focus WRC and Morissy driving a Subaru WRX?

Barney would win a Big-Mac rally:lol: judging by his new belly. As for the car rally - Barney would win that as well - that other ponce would spend the first 5 minutes checking what's left of his hair in the mirror and singing how life isn't fair...meanwhile Barney would probably be a bit pissed on Pernod and Prozac singing along to ABBA:lol:

...but after crashing 3 times, he'd crawl over the line in half a car...a bit like the movie "Herbie goes Bananas"

Now that the subject of Barney and cars has been brought up I thought i'd share my Barney/Cars Get Ready lyrical examination. Here are the car references:

Primitive Notion - "i've been driving in the wrong gear"

60MPH - "Why don't we both take a ride and turn the key, we're drivin' 60 Miles An Hour

Turn My Way- "Dont want to own a key, don't want to wash my car"

Barney loves the car metaphors but it seems his fame has kept him from mastering the finer points of the automobile. If he's going 60 miles an hour with a Cool Chick in the car, he must be in the wrong gear. Hardly surprising for someone who doesn't even want to own a key to a car not to mention being too busy/important/lazy to wash the car.

Personally, i prefer when Barney goes on walks.

"I like walking in the park...."

"I walked along the beach..."

He seems to use walking as a time to reflect on his life and be alone. Looking at the photo's of his expanding wasteline makes me wish for more songs about walking and fewer about driving (Primitive Notion is King)

... when it get's late at night!!!

Quite sure that they both will have to walk back late at night, when they're only driving 60Mph in a Focus WRC or Subaru WRX. When they arrive at the finish, everybody's gone green already...

They should try a Leon Cupra4!!!!

I just remembered State of the Nations "I drove in my stolen car" line. When It broke down it was probably due to his terrible driving. 60 Mph in first gear for too long is my guess. I bet the engine blew. barns needs to stay away from cars.

The car parked in his drive on the Prozac documentary was well nice cant remember what it was aston martin or something, or was it on Jonny Marrs drive?

I wish i could find that damn video again...

Morrissey once did an interview where he said that he was a "dedicated pedestrian" and hated cars, so Barney would clearly win the race as Mozzer would be arrested for driving without a license!

ahhh...Morrissey would lose just for the fact that he is an utter and complete WANKER...
