Warners Australia say its out on March 4th. Anyone want a copy?

I'll check this further. Intrestingly they have no info on Krafty being released. The Warners au website has no up-to-date news on the New Order page either - last bit was from 2002!

Ta for the info. Bout time we heard something.

My contact at Warner Australia said to me last week there was no date set for album release date...isn't it a bit unusual for Aust to get the album before the UK? Could the date instead be for Krafty, which is released on the 7th of March in the UK? I'll double-check my sources... CTB :bear:

Nothing on there yet...

It must be the release date for Krafty, not the album... it's already weird that it will be released sooner in Japan, but 3 weeks earlier, that would be very weird...

It was a guy in the sales/orders dept and he read the title out from their internal database list. I asked about the single Krafty and he said no listing. Mind you it probably is a FU by Warners and they've got the titles wrong.

Doesn't look like PR/promotions will be doing much given the lack of anything on the website - will have to investigate.

Well, tell them if they want online promotion to contact us... as far as I know, we have plenty of Aussie members on here.

I'm trying to contact the most countries office of Warner to have good promotion this time around.. specific contest for specific regions... etc.

Is your contact in promotions and did you quote NOOL directly? If so, I'll leave you to dig. Best we don't have multiple people quoting NOOL or they'll get arsey.

I'll try a contact I have at Warner Vision.

Warner AU is supremely useless when it comes to most things New Order. Most music retail websites around the world now provide local release info for single AND album but, predictably, Warner here hasn't done jack. Watch for a dated press release in a month's time and the update of their NO page after the album's out.

But it's not all doom and gloom of course. We're bound to get a few limited editions again with a dud quality video cassette/t-shirt/pez dispenser.

Let us know when you find out anything.

CALLING CANDY THE BEAR, CALLING CANDY THE BEAR!!

Can I talk to you off line please? About The Delta Tapes.

That is all. Australia may have it's thread back now.

Sorry if I appeared a smartarse there, Mulv - Warner Aust seems to have a few different takes on official dates.

FYI all interested Australian NOOLs. Below is a verbatim response from Warner Australia:

"Hi Wayne,

xxxxxx forwarded your e-mail onto me as I'm the marketing manager for New Order.

We've scheduled the album for a release on March 28th (which'll actually be 29th due to Easter Monday).

At this stage the single is due for release on March 14th. I don't imagine this will change, but you never know until you have the art parts and music in your hands... Kindest... Nick. "

So now you know. ;) CTB :bear:

Old Blue, you had me at 'Delta Tapes' :D

FYI DC - no, this has no reference to the delightful Ms Goodrem before you chime in. CTB :bear:

You have mail.

And DC, don't believe him. "The Delta Tapes" is in fact the next celebrity sex video to hit the interweb. Her moans of "Wayne, Wayne..." are Oscar winning material.

You would appear to have the definitive response. God help the record stores when they try to order in the thousands - OK make that dozens :D

Randy, be a good care-bear and email me the contact for the dude looking after NO for Warner AU. I've got myself a launch party to organise and some promos to smooth-talk him out of.

Presumably Oscar winning because they sounded believable? That would be a first. Actually, the most hurtful part of this is that the LadyBear laughed out loud when she read your comment, Oldie. :( CTB :bear:

Damn, I wont be in Oz on the 28th or 29th March for the Oz release of WFTSC :ohwell:

I guess I'll just miss out on a crummy lo-quality tee-shirt or a dodgy videotape.....

I wonder if China is having any specials for this NO release as I will be in Shanghai around that time.:confused2: Maybe special edition CD with FREE LeeKumKee Sauce?

Welcome back Snoops. If CTB would just winch the basket down to Ian Pillar, we'd almost have the full house of Aussies posting to this topic. Strewth.

Sadly, this will not happen; Ian is currently 'considering his behaviour' after he threw the lotion away, and instead kidnapped my 'little precious' in a feeble attempt to bargain his way out of my basement. CTB :bear:
